Karma is the cause-and-effect link between your past actions and their consequences. Karmic tasks most often act throughout your whole life, but they can sometimes show up sharply in a particular period — especially if the same code appears in your "life periods". The description of the negative aspects serves as a warning about potential risks, not as a way to frighten you. With deliberate self-development, following the advice that is given, any task turns into an opportunity for personal growth and gives a powerful boost in its own area of development.

The life periods described below most often last 10–15 years; the final period continues until the end of life. It is up to you to work out exactly how long each one lasts by studying the description and analysing your own life.

The first period sets your character and your basic attitude to life. It is good if it passed in its positive variant. The last period is what you will leave this life with and carry into the next one — whether it becomes a resource or a problem depends on you. The period you are currently in is also very important, and it should always receive special attention.

It is important to understand that the negative characteristics are only there to warn you about possible difficulties — but you should not programme yourself for them! Everything is in your hands, and the description, both in its plus and its minus, is only a guide to the energy of the period. The numbers incline, but do not oblige.

When analysing the periods, understand that they are all your single, overall life programme — it is simply that one theme comes to the foreground now, and is later replaced by another.
